At BR Backyard Gardens, we specialize in custom organic vegetable gardens. Each garden we install is made to the customer’s unique property and style while the produce selection is carefully chosen to match what each customer and their family needs and uses. We believe that fresh produce should be easily harvested and safe to consume. That’s why we source organic seeds and starters and never use chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Growing up in the Northern Adirondacks, Danielle has aways had a passion for nature and environmental stewardship. Throughout middle and high school she had a backyard garden, growing tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and peppers. After moving to Long Island and graduating from SUNY Old Westbury with a degree in Environmental Studies, Danielle noticed a need for accessible locally-grown produce on Long Island. With that, the idea to help bring organic produce to backyards across the island was born.
